Boris Bozic
Founder, Ground Up Initiative
With over 25 years of experience playing, coaching, and running successful soccer programs, Bozic and the Ground Up Initiative strive to bring high-quality soccer into low-income neighborhood schools.
In 2013, Bozic founded and since has been at the helm of Success Academy's Soccer Program. The program quickly established itself as the only school-based program in the country competing at the highest club levels. Currently, the charter school program serves over 7,000 student/athletes.
Bozic believes his unique model can and should be replicated across the nation, especially in areas where children lack opportunities and access to high-quality soccer programs.
